Founder of Ridgewalker Expeditions, Joe Wildman is a man whose life has been defined by adventure. Born in Italy and grew up in Australia he is a retired lawyer and former helicopter pilot, Joe traded boardrooms and cockpits for the far edges of the wilderness — and for more than 30 years he has pursued the world’s most challenging hunts and expeditions.

From stalking red stags in the forests of Europe, to facing down lions on the African savannah, to chasing giant fish in the blue depths of the Coral Sea, Joe has lived the kinds of stories most hunters only dream about. Along the way, he’s encountered pirates, poachers, sharks, and storms — and brought home not just trophies, but the experiences that come with living life on the edge.

Today, as the driving force behind Ridgewalker Expeditions, Joe shares this lifetime of adventure with others. He curates and leads exclusive hunting and at times spearfishing experiences across the globe, offering clients not just a hunt, but a story worth telling.
